Hope Unlimited

We share a deep-rooted Christian faith with the people of Kenya and Cameroon. Since the inception of Hope Unlimited, we have worked to ensure that local churches are in good condition and are stocked with Bibles, Bible lessons, devotionals, and other study tools to support the villagers in their walk with Christ. Funds are needed to ensure each family has a Bible.

Over a decade ago, we built a clinic to provide basic healthcare and medicines that treat prevalent diseases of this area, such as malaria and parasites. Countless lives have been saved due to the presence of a nearby clinic. Ongoing funding is needed to ensure an adequate supply of medicines Kenya and Cameroon, and proper medical treatment.

Education is essential for children to change the trajectory of their lives. After improving the Njuthine, Kenya elementary school and providing students with educational materials, daily lunches, and scholarship support, children are performing markedly better. All students are qualifying for secondary school, and as a result, scholarship funds continue to be needed.

A two-mile pipeline from the nearest river to Njuthine, Kenya has made it possible for the villagers to irrigate and grow a surplus of vegetables. This has eradicated hunger and allowed for the sale of surplus vegetables to produce a modest income. River water is, however, not always plentiful and contains parasites. For this reason, we plan to drill wells to provide abundant clean water for people and animals.

The surplus of food from irrigation has fostered the beginning of small business activity, which can be expanded into a thriving economy. With a little help, the people of Kenya can produce milk, eggs, chickens, and other products to sell and become self-sufficient.
